These are two-day certification review courses, February 26th and 27th. When you register for the conference, these sessions are listed as a product to be added to the cart. Please select which review session you would prefer. Note: Certification review courses include exam fees - your instructor will provide you with details for registering.

The CPI exam is an entry level exam for individuals working toward an advanced level of certification. This exam focus on individuals who wish bring the science of innovation to their professional efforts. Working from the mind map at https://iaoip.site- ym.com/page/BodyofKnowledge, takers of this exam are required to have a basic working knowledge of all aspects of the body of knowledge for the science of innovation. Individuals must pass this exam before proceeding to the Practitioner Level exams which require the member to have a mastery of a specific individual branch of the mind map. This review course will expose members to an intensive review of concepts in the science of innovation. It is highly recommended that exam takers purchase and review the material from both the Global Innovation Science Handbook and the specific Study Guide (available for free for exam registrants).

The CIM is the entry level exams for individuals working toward an advanced level of certification in the management of innovation. The manager exam focuses more on individuals who wish to manage in the innovation teams. Working from the mind map at https://iaoip.site- ym.com/page/BodyofKnowledge, Takers of this exam are required to have a basic working knowledge of all aspects of the management aspects to the science of innovation. Individuals completely the Certified Innovation Manager make proceed to take a y of the Practitioner Level exams or to engage in the Certified Chief Innovation Officer process. Practitioner Level exams require the member to have a mastery of each individual branch of the mind map. This review course will expose members to an intensive review of an intensive review of concepts in the science of innovation. It is highly recommended that exam takers purchase and review the material from both the Global Innovation Science Handbook and the specific Study Guide (available for free for exam registrants).

Successful innovative companies innovate continuously because of their culture of Design-Thinking. When done right, this human centered thinking links inspiration and passion to execution and delivery—positively affecting every facet of the product and service. One of the Practitioner Level required to advance to the highest IAOIP certification level, this certification tests your understanding of the science of design thinking when approaching an especially when working within a team or leading a team. Completion of this certification demonstrates your ability to grasp and understand the history, development and broad application of the science of design thinking. It is highly recommended that exam takers purchase and review the material from both the Global Innovation Science Handbook and the specific Study Guide (available for free for exam registrants).

One of the Practitioner Levelexams that are required to advance to the highest IAOIP certification level, this certification tests your ability to fully grasp approximately more than 70tools commonly used in innovation. There is no specific IAOIP study guide for this exam. The body of knowledge for this exam is based on three books developed by the IAOIP Working Group for this certification. To best prepare for this exam, and to have a convenient reference for your professional efforts, it is suggested you purchase the three books. They are available on line at Amazon under the title The Innovation Tools Handbook, (Volume 1, 2, and 3): Creative Tools, Methods, and Techniques that Every Innovator Must Know.
